The biggest Kingfisher lives in Africa and is a Giant kingfisher. It is about 46cm long and weighs up to 15oz.

The heaviest kingfisher lives in Australia and is called the laughing Kookaburra and weighs up to 18oz.

Kingfishers mostly eat fish. Some types of king fishers eat frogs, insects or even other birds.
